Theory Sample Sale 2006

The line(s): 1.5 hrs to get inside. 8 mins to get into the dressing room. 3 mins for sweaters. No line to pay. (Note, this was on Saturday, allegedly on the "advance preview" day.)

In sum: Far fewer suits (in 00's, 0's, and 2's) than last year. Overall, a far worse sale. (Probably because the collection in general was much stronger this year, and probably sold better in stores.) Nice basic cashmere sweater selection, good tank tops & shells, good selection of tubular's, some lovely dresses.

I bought: Various tank tops (to go under suits) at $25 each, Suit jacket to match pencil skirt I already own, Black strappy dress, Muted eggplant raw silk minidress, Black satin vneck dress, Grey/brown trousers, Cashmere V-neck sweaters in Golf Green and Cream, wonderful silver/grey cami...
